Description

Test shot #4 (the last) taken at the Olympia site with fixed tripod. Again, ISO 6400, 25 seconds, f/3.5, 20mm, saved in sRaw. Camera was pointed near the zenith. Hope plate solve works, so far it has worked only for the second test shot. The sky to the north (everything right of center) is relatively bright because of the Olympia light dome. Need take some shots at my red zone site back home in Lynnwood for comparison.

Original Image: jpeg out of camera. Plate solve failed.

Image B: Converted to tiff and processed in Startools to remove LP gradient to the right, darken sky, and brighten stars in hopes of a successful astrobin plate solve.

Image C: Slightly cropped to trim artifacts on bottom and right edges. This means the resolution reported in the technical card will be off a few pixels.
